Bad Time?
Ever get those calls from an unknown number?
And when you finally answer it's a sales pitch for a new RV.

They are so annoying for many reasons.
Which leads us to today's nuggets for texting.
SMS Best Practice - Avoid These Mistakes
You don't like random texts and neither do your customers.
Avoid These Common Mistakes
โ Timing: Don't send them too early, too late, during dinner time or on a holiday.
Stats show the best time to send is 10:30-11:30am or 2:30-3:30pm
โ Slang: Don't use slang. Everyone doesn't know it and you may cause confusion.
โ ID: Make sure you tell the customer it's you. Don't assume and this will also keep your brand top of mind.
โ Sales Pitch: Don't treat them as a number, it will come off too salesy. Be Human!
โ Too Many Texts: Don't send so many texts. Make them valuable so they know it's something good.
โ Opt Out: Make sure to give them a way to opt out.
โ Call To Action (CTA): Always have a CTA. i.e. Use this code at checkout for 45% off.
Be human, bring value and execute!
